The YouTube program Eara’s Girls is a day-in-the life look at the lives of a family of African-American female entrepreneurs, who juggle their separate businesses and individual family lives, while striving to maintain their own individuality in a group of strong women.
The family’s matriarch, Eara Simpson, was born and raised in the panhandle of Florida during an error of segregation. She was raised by a Church of God in Christ Founder and Pastor, former Navy veteran and sharecropper father and a stay-at-home mother. She is the 12th of 18 children. Eara has two biological daughters and one son (deceased), but God gave her a heart to raise and nurture several young women as a ministry. Eara often had foster girls and helped raise three of her goddaughters – now featured on the show.
While the show is primarily designed for entertainment value, throughout the series, there are several real-life topics that are addressed by each sister. Many people will find these sisters’ storylines inspiring, touching, humorous and relatable. Life struggles such as infertility, divorce, single-parenting and the unexpected death of a beloved family member are things that we all face. Eara’s Girls takes a real look at these life challenges and outlines that no matter where you are in life - you need your family to get you through!
